Henkaa.com was a start up company selling convertible dresses looking to the web as a cost effective way to test their products on their target market. They wanted to know whether or not there was enough demand in this niche fashion market before investing more into the business.
In order to measure online demand, a basic shopping cart and backend sales order system was required to record sales and process orders. CPC advertising was used to generate immediate online traffic. We then allowed the experiment take its course and measured the response metrics of the leads coming to the website.
Online reporting and the backend order system allowed us to track where the sales conversions came from. While there were different sources of online visitors, we found some to be more effective than others. The data collected allowed us to figure out where to focus the company’s marketing for better results.
